"With most people celebrating their “birthday” virtually during 2020, to have a teenager focus on “giving” rather than receiving on their “born day” is definitely to be acknowledged!
Olivia Hampton spent her 17th birthday on September 15, 2020 by purchasing hygiene items totaling over $100 and donating them to the Department of Juvenile Services youth. Olivia, a Junior at Lexington High School, is an entrepreneur since the age of 8 and has spent 2020 establishing a non-profit (Liv’s Store) to assist youth who have hardships.
Olivia also donates regularly to the Lexington Interfaith Community Services. Her personal quote is: “I want to donate to youth who are not able to get what they need during this time of crisis especially since they are separated from their families.”
