Allen University inducts new members into Phi Beta Lambda

Allen University’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda recently inducted new members into the organization. Phi Beta Lambda inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. 

Allen University’s Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda is committed to developing competent, aggressive business leadership skills. 

“My goal is to assist our students with strengthening confidence in themselves and their work and creating more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise,” said Melita Heyward, adviser. 

The Alpha Upsilon Chapter was chartered on the campus of Allen University on September 19, 1980. The new members are Charles Kinlaw, a junior social science major, Christasia Wright, a junior business accounting major, Takoda Spann, a junior mathematics major, Albertus Cocklin, a sophomore business major, and Robert Yates, a sophomore business major.
