The Columbia House Music Project is hosting its second annual Summer House at The Stadium. The Summer House at the Stadium event will be held at the Benedict College Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium, located at 2047 Two Notch Road, on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m.
"I am excited to bring this type of event to our community, city and state. It is history making. This is the first time that this has happened. DJs from all over the country are joining in to help raise awareness for our homeless veterans. In addition, we are cultivating house music culture right in our state. We want to put S.C. on the map for its soulful house music," said DJ Kelly Kel, the founder of The Columbia House Music Project.
This is a free community event. There will be free food, music and dance. Guests are welcome to bring tents, lawn chairs and coolers. The line-up of DJ's includes DJ ChillX, DJ Rick Swiney, DJ Marshall Jones and host DJ Kelly Kel.
The Columbia House Music Project is also collecting donations of slightly used and new clothing for men, women and children of all ages. For more information, call (803) 466-2293.
