Cleaves Memorial Women's Day

Cleaves Memorial CME Church celebrated their Annual Women's Day on Sunday, May 26.  Their theme was "Women on a Mission to Please God."

The speaker for the occasion was Lady Angelia Edwards, who is the co-founder of F.I.R.E. Ministries Church, Inc.  Her husband is Pastor Tyrone Edwards.  Her message emphasized some characteristics of God: He is love, good, able, merciful, strong, a present help, and awesome.

Mrs. Joyce Jenkins received special recognition for her dedicated and enthusiastic service to the church. 

Mrs. Joyce Jenkins and Ms. Doris Rhames chaired this program.  Mrs. Theresa Muldrow was the adviser.  Ms. Evelyn Williams, missionary president, was the worship leader.  Rev. Dr. Doris L. Hicks, is the pastor.
