The public is invited to participate in the City of Columbia's Go Red for Women Day Party that will include a press conference, community photo op, health screenings and heart health information to help and support the women affected by heart disease, the number 1 killer of women. The event is free and open to the public. Come join us for a “party with a purpose”.

This year’s event will be held on National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 7, 2020. The Go Red Columbia Day Party will be hosted by Mayor Pro Tem Tameika Isaac Devine. The Go Red for Women movement encourages awareness of this issue and action to help save lives. Both men and women are encouraged to wear red the day of the event.

The event will be held at the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center, located at 1201 Walker Solomon Way on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. The public and media are invited to attend.
