It runs in the family. Lower Richland High School senior Zhariah Walker, like two other members of her family, has achieved 12 years of perfect attendance.
Inspired by their achievements, Zhariah follows in the footsteps of her mother and older brother Jamal in attaining this goal.
“The bar was set high, and I was determined to reach it,” she said.
Zhariah is also racking up some very impressive scholarship totals and college offers. To date, she has received acceptance letters from 65 colleges across the nation and nearly $3.5 million in scholarship offers.
Zhariah, who is also a Richland One Academic All-Star and a High School Scholar, plans to major in business administration at the Honors College at Claflin University. After college, she plans to attend law school.
Richland One extends its congratulations to Zhariah, who is the daughter of proud parents Vincent and Tracee Walker.
