The Columbia Section of the National Council of Negro Women will will host its 39th "Living the Legacy Awards Celebration."

Its going to be a grand event on Saturday, January 18, 2020, 5:00 pm when the Columbia Section of NCNW will once again honor outstanding persons who embody the ideals set forth by the organization's founder Dr. Mary McCleod Bethune and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Brookland Banquet and Conference Center, located at 1066 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia, S.C.

The gust speaker for this occasion will be Janice Mathis, the Executive Director of NCNW. Ms. Mathis is a native of South Carolina. She will speak from the theme "Intergenerational Trailblazers on a Mission."
