Richland One parents who need help paying for their children’s college tuition or who don’t have a clue where to start or how to get the money are invited to attend the How to Plan and Pay for College 101 workshop, which will be held September 12 at 6:30 p.m. at A.C. Flora High School, 1 Falcon Drive.

A Financial Aid 101 workshop will be held October 23 at 6:30 p.m. at A.C. Flora High School. Workshop topics will include the basics, like financial aid and how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (commonly known as FAFSA) and much more.

Both workshops are free, but parents and students must register at www.cfcsc.com or by calling 798-0390. A certified college planning specialist with The College Funding Center of South Carolina will be the presenter at each workshop. Parents needing additional information should contact the district’s School Counseling Services Office at (803) 231-6940.
