New principals will greet students at five Richland One schools when the 2019-2020 school year begins on August 21.

• Dr. Monica Adams is the new principal at Carver-Lyon Elementary School. Dr. Adams previously served as an assistant principal at John P. Thomas Elementary School.

• Jametta Hodges-Stewart is the acting principal at St. Andrews Middle School, where she previously served as an assistant principal.

• Kevin Hasinger is the new principal at Dreher High School. Mr. Hasinger previously served as the principal at Satchel Ford Elementary School.

• Dr. Matthew Scandrol is the new principal at Satchel Ford Elementary School. Dr. Scandrol previously served as the principal at Lake City High School in Florence School District Three.

• Craig Washington is the new principal at Columbia High School. Mr. Washington previously served as the principal at Southside Middle School in Florence School District One.
